Megan Titensor: Cello
Megan Titensor is a highly qualified professional cellist and educator with many years of performing and teaching experience. Currently, Megan has a large studio of private cello students, performs with the Boulder Chamber Orchestra, and is a freelance musician in the Boulder, Colorado area.
Megan completed her Master's degree in Cello Performance at the University of Colorado at Boulder. There, she studied with Judith Glyde as well as András Fejér of the Takács Quartet. Megan earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Utah State University where she gained valuable experience as a soloist and chamber musician and performed in masterclasses for some of the world's most respected musicians, such as Paul Katz, Carter Brey, and the Vermeer and Cavani Quartets.
Also an accomplished pianist, Megan has extensive experience as a performer and collaborator, enabling her to accompany her own students. She teaches privately in Golden, Longmont, and Louisville. Her students range from young Suzuki cellists to adult beginners. Megan has also done extensive training in early childhood music development and education.
Megan loves skiing, hiking, and climbing with her husband. She also enjoys cooking and baking.
